Rated as one of the best French restaurants in Dublin, L’Ecrivain has some downfalls as well. The place is packed and long waiting times, along with a heavy price tag for each dish you order. The wine here is delectable and the service is marvelous. The Foie Gras which costs around €28.00, is one of the most top rated dishes in this particular restaurant. Chef/patron Derry clarke and wife Sallyanne clarke take pride in their fresh ingredients. The food gets an overall 10/10 rating by most of the customers who visit the restaurants either for the first time or nth time. They keep coming back!
